Tchami Brings the Prophecy Tour to the Sold Out Trocadero

The Parasian producer, Tchami, invades Philly this Thursday night for his sold out show at the Trocadero. After making a huge splash in the industry back in 2015 with his highly acclaimed After Life EP and backed by his French brother, DJ Snake. Tchami led the revolution for the rise of an unheard genre, deep house. The DJ was instantly becoming one of the hottest acts in the industry for his innovative style and bizarre wardrobe (he dresses like a priest).

After stealing the spotlight in 2015, the deep house DJ is coming off of what was a fairly quiet year in 2016. A few festival appearances at Coachella and Firefly was all the year brought. It seemed as though Tchami was just sitting back quietly perfecting his craft and making new music. He also used the last year to really promote his new label, Confessions, helping to shed light on some of the best unknown talent out there. Flash foward to 2017 and Tchami has now clearly settled into his own niche. He has provided his followers time in and out with a fresh, new deep house sound that is truly distinct from its peers. His latest two tracks, “Propechy” featuring Maala and “Adieu” have become the foundation for the current sounds coming out of the genre.

The Prophecy Tour will see the return of Tchami’s famed cathedral stage production.  Previously used for his After Life Tour, the design features illusions of magnificent stained glass windows set as the backdrop. In other words, Tchami will be transforming the sold out Troc into his own cathedral of music. Fellow DJ and “Pardon My French” affiliate, Mercer, will accompany the future house pioneer on what is sure to be an explosion of Parisian sounds. Get there early Philadelphia! This is sure to be one incredible night of music.
