James opens at 19th and Arch in the Logan Square district of Philadelphia. The location sits across the street from the current and soon to be Comcast buildings of Center City Philadelphia. The restaurant is named after the 1700s Philadelphia statesman and former mayor James Logan.
These are the same owners from Mac’s Tavern in Old City, but expect James to elevate sophistication and tastes within this new venture. Chef Michael Suminski designed the menu which features lunch, dinner and bar snacks. They have three rooms and a vault for private dining in Philadelphia.
The full dinner menu can be found at http://jamesphiladelphia.com/dinner/
The bar hosts 10 taps for draft beers and an impressive cocktail menu.
James is well equipped for private parties and dining with a few rooms and vault for groups.
