Honey's Sit N Eat | A Diner With A Twist

With two locations, Center City and Northern Liberties, Honey’s Sit N Eat is a diner with a twist. Interestingly, Honey’s does not describe themselves a diner, rather it’s a place where people come sit and eat – simplifying, yet expounding the experience of Honey’s.

Honey’s Sit N Eat is an eclectic mash up of cuisines that make unique food worth devouring. This devour-worthy- food is a mixture of classic southern comfort food served with a Jewish flare, creating a funky fusion of diner, or rather sit n eat, food.

The Southern-Jewish menu offers bagels with lox or whitefish — a classic Jewish breakfast. But, also swerves to more Southern territories and serves up classic comfort such as biscuits, sausage and gravy and buttermilk pancakes. Instead of getting a mere side of home fries, at Honey’s you have a choice of grits or potato latkes! Your choice to add a little extra southern or Jewish flare into your already invitingly mouthwatering meal!

The lunch menu, again, blends the unlikely pairing as the Sit N Eat is serving up Bubby’s brisket sandwich side by side southern fried chicken, for instance. Honey’s seamlessly fuses two distinct cuisines into one gnarly eating experience that will make you want to come back for more!

Honey’s Sit N Eat is a must go to and try if you are craving something a different from the typical diner!

If you don’t believe me then, believe Guy Fieri! He swung by Honey’s to feature this unique fusion of Southern and Jewish feed on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives six years ago. That was before Honey’s opened a second location in Center City!

Honey’s take the classic approach to diner food and puts on a not-so-classic spin on it through combining Southern comfort with a splash of Jewish classics. I, and Guy Fieri, urge all Philadelphians and travelers alike to try out this funky neighborhood joint that continues to serve up heavenly food!
